Speaking with PNEB, Mr. Feyi Olasode the admin Manager who doubled as chaperone and chief planner said the idea of allowing students invite a date was geared towards helping them celebrate valentine’s day in a modest way. He said “we knows some of them are in a relationship, rather than feign ignorance, we decided to organize this Programe allowing them to do the planning and organizing so that we can observe them”.
In addition, Olasode said the intention is to send those dating to the school counselor. He said the need for counseling is to help guide the students in making proper decision and not to victimize them.
The proprietress Mrs Laura Ashiedu was very pleased at how the event turned out.
The students also had a time of dancing to wrap up the event. It was a day of decent fun and sharing on valentine’s day.
