Merriments as Junior Anthonians school holds Christmas Funfair
For some reasons the Christmas season holds an unusual appeal for everyone, warming hearts and making many merry as it winds up the year’s activities with celebrations.
It is in this light that Junior Anthonians Nur/Pry school held her Christmas Funfair treating staff and pupils to a fun time.
The event featured a whole lot of fun activities such as games, choreography, dance competitions among pupils, Christmas song presentation, special appearance, and lots of food and drinks.
The introduction of the Ben 10, mascot was a real delight to the pupils who were familiar with the popular cartoon character, and like magic, the pupils followed the mascot dancing.
Another special moment was the grand entrance of Santa Claus better known as father Christmas in the Nigerian circle, and he didn’t come empty handed, known for his generosity, father Christmas came bearing gifts for the children, putting a smile on their faces.
The Teachers were not left out of the fun as they had a dance competition. Amidst cheers and excitement from the pupils and all present, the teachers danced to melodious tunes making the event more colourful and memorable.
The curtains drew as the event climaxed beautifully with a closing prayer and invitation for everyone to the dance floor.
