2019/2020 admission : JAMB fixes cut-off mark

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said it will on Tuesday, June 11, meet with stakeholders at Gbongan, Osun State to decide the cut-off mark for the 2019/2020 admission.

Fabian Benjamin, who is the JAMB’s head of information, made this disclosure in a statement on Sunday, June 9, 2019, in Abuja, The Nation reports. Benjamin also said after the meeting, the official cut-off marks for the 2019/2020 admission will be announced to members of the public.

He said: “It is pertinent to note that the heads of institutions and other stakeholders will do so at a policy meeting which is chaired by the Honourable Minister of Education. ”The board has scheduled the 2019 Policy Meeting for June 11 at Gbongan, Osun State.”

JAMB also warned admission seekers against fraudsters who may release fake admission cut-off marks. On printing of admission letter, the board also told the candidates who sat for the examinations to do so in order to confirm their admission status. JAMB however said it has successfully secured the conviction of fifteen people involved in double registration, examination malpractice and other infractions during the examination.

Meanwhile, JAMB released 4, 636 more results of its recently conducted Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, made this disclosure in a statement on Friday in Lagos.
